Chapter 133
The server quickly brought out the meals.
Cynthia, still upset from the morning’s events, found she didn’t have much of an appetite. She barely touched her food, taking just a couple of bites before putting her chopsticks down
Liam noticed how little she’d eaten and frowned slightly. He picked up some dishes and placed them into Cynthia’s bowl, saying, “Fat a little more. you’ve hardly had anything.”
Seeing the concern in his eyes, Cynthia obliged and took a few more bites. After finishing the food Liam had served her, she noticed he was about to add more to her plate and quickly gestured for him to stop
“I’m full.” She insisted.
Liam had no choice but to let it go and casually took a few bites of his meal
Just then, the Cilantro Lime Confenti Salad Liam had ordered with a specific purpose arrived. The owner, mistaking today as a change in taste for this distinguished patron, placed the dish before Liam with a flattering gesture.
The rich aroma was so profound that it could be sensed from a distance.
Liam’s frown was subtle, barely noticeable. The owner’s attempt at flattery paused, his mind wavering
Just then, a clear and beautiful voice rang out. “Put it over here.
The owner glanced at the newcomer’s expression and decided to place the dish in front of Cynthia.
“Can I get some rice too!” She asked politely.
“Coming right up the owner replied with enthusiasm.
Cynthia wasn’t feeling hungry, but this dish was her absolute favorite. There was no way she could re
resist.
The owner brought the rice over promptly. Cynthia served herself a bowl and filled another one for Liam
Let me tell you, this dish might seem like simple home cooking, nothing fancy, but this Cilantro Lime Confetti Salad is seriously delicious. It knocks all those fancy dishes out of the park
Cynthia said with pride. After taking a bite mixed with rice and sighing contentedly, she turned her head to see that Liam hadn’t touched his chopsticks and kindly placed some of the food in his bowl for him.
Liam’s face clearly showed his distaste.
“Don’t like it?” Cynthia suddenly realized, noticing his expression for the first time. Cilantro was a love–it–or–hate–it kind of herb. Those who loved it couldn’t get enough, and those who hated it wanted it as far away as possible..
“I’m allergic to Cilantro. The man said in a low voice.
Cynthia, who had been busily eating, paused mid–bite and looked up, her words muffled, “You’re allergic and you still ordered this? Have a death wish or something?”
Then she defily put all the salad from Liam’s bowl into her own.
“I ordered it because I know you like it. I figured you didn’t have much of an appetite today, so I did it especially for you” He explained, looking relieved now that the smell of Cilantro in front of him was far away.
“How did you know I like in Cynthia asked curiously. She couldn’t recall ever explicitly revealing her preferences.
“Winnie said that. He replied.
Cynthia then remembered the times she had been alone at home, especially requesting Winnie to prepare this dish. It dawned on her that even though Liam had been busy at the office every day, he still made an effort to pay attention to her needs.
The warmth blossomed in Cynthia’s heart at the thought of being
g constantly on someone’s mind, an undeniably comforting feeling
After swallowing her mouthful of food, Cynthia got up, walked over to Liam, and wrapped her arms around his neck, cooing. “Thank you, hubby.”
Her voice was soft and sweet; even the lingering scent of Cilantro couldn’t soften the impact it had on Liam
He pulled her into his arms, his mood lifted as he grinned and said, “Say it again.”

Hubby, hubby, hubby,” Cynthia complied, repeating the endearment.
Hearing this, Liam smiled dotingly. He looked down at her full, luscious lips and couldn’t resist planting a kiss on them. The softness, merged with the familiar scent made him insatiable, even if it was tinged with a hint of Gilantro,
The lengthy, passionate kiss left Cynthia breathless in Liam’s embrace, totally drained of energy. She lay there with her lips slightly parted, taking
shallow breaths.
Just then, a server arrived with desserts, accidentally witnessing the intimate scene.
Cynthia’s face was as red as a ripe cherry as she playfully punched the man’s chest before finding an excuse to escape to the bathroom
Liam watched her retreating shy figure, his mouth curling into an indulgent smile.
Only then did he notice a faint numbness in his mouth and tongue? His expression turned serious as he rinsed his mouth with tea from the table. The tingling wasn’t very noticeable, so he didn’t give it much thought
Cynthia rushed to the restroom, standing in front of the mirror. Her eyes shimmered back at her, her lips were visibly swollen, and her heart trembled slightly.
A clear sign she had been bullied. She thought, ‘How am I supposed to face people looking like this! She splashed her face with cold water, wi
which helped to dissipate some of the beat
She stayed in the restroom until she was sure she looked normal again.
However, as she passed by a private room, she heard the sound of something shattering inside. A waiter burst out of the room with his face covered, and for a split second, as the door swung open, Cynthia caught a glimpse inside.

Broken teacups littered the floor, and a man and a woman
The woman was all too familiar to her, it was Felicia. The man, whom Cynthia had never seen before, looked like bad news. His head was shorn. with tanned skin and tattoos on his arms

Of all the terrible translations this is by far the worst. Garbled rubbish with different languages in between. I wouldn't recommend this novel!...
