After breakfast, Cynthia and Hallet went to Larson Group. 

When they passed a pharmacy on the way, Cynthia remembered she was supposed to get birth control pills. 

So, she stopped the car and told Hallet in the passenger seat, “Glimme a minute, Halles. I’ll go get something 

She then went straight into the pharmacy 

Hallet watched her back and frowned in confusion, wondering why she would hit the pharmacy early in the morning. 

Thinking that he had stuffed himself to the limit the night before and had indigestion, he decided to follow her inside to get some medicine for digestion. 

Cynthia barely had a chance to ask the staff for some morning–after pills when she saw Haller setting foot inside as well. 

She held back because she could never lei Hallet know about her taking such pills or something bad might happen owing to Hallet’s big mouth. “What was that you wanted, miss?” asked the staff, being done waiting for Cynthia to speak 

Hallet was the first to utter, “Can you get me a box of digestive tablets? I ate too much last night, and now I’m bloated.” 

Thus went the staff to fetch Haller the tablets. 

Hallet asked Cynthia curiously. “What you were here for early in the morning 

Cynthia frowned and brooded over it before repeating Hallet’s sentiment. “I also ate too much last night, so I wanted something for indigestion. Since you gonna get it, I’ll pass. I’ll wait in the car. Hurry up”

Hallet eyed Cynthia’s back and scratched his head. 

Soon, the staff came back with some digestion tablets and handed them to Hallet before asking out of curiosity, “Why did that lady leave?”
