Chapter 318
“The future will be challenging by yourself Leah remarked earnestly, seeing Isabella as if she were her own granddaughter.
With a smile and a shake of her head, Isabella pondered for a moment before taking our her phone. She decided it was time to share about Theodore, hoping to put Leah at ease.
Isabella brought up photos of Theodore on her phone and handed them to Leah. As she stared at the vibrant boy on expression crossed her face.
“Who is this?” she asked.
“Granny Leah, this is what keeps me going. This is mine and Anthony’s child, Thro,” Isabella explained.
“What?” Leah exclaimed,

Isabella struggled to find the words to describe the tumultuous relationship and conflicts with Anthony, so she summarized everything by saying. “It’s a long story, but Theodore is indeed our child. Because of the Clara family’s issues, I had to keep him away to keep him safe.
“This is wonderful Leah exclaimed, tears welling up in her eyes. “Anthony has a child of his own.”
As she studied Theodore on the screen, despite his strong resemblance to Isabella, Leah noticed the boy’s eyes held a familiar hint of Anthony- heart swelled with anticipation to meet her great–grandson.
“Where is he now? Can I see him” she asked.
“Theo’s at the border right now. I’ll bring him back once things settle down. Isabella answered.
Leah grasped the gravity of the Clara family’s situation. Not even an adult could be safe, let alone a child, so she nodded in understanding and agreed solemnly, “You’re right. You should bring him back when it’s safe.”
News of her great–grandson reignited hope in Leah’s heart. In the corning days, she was no longer weighed down by daily despair. She busied herself buying fabric and wool and crafting clothes for Theodore based on the measurements Isabella provided
AsIsabella concentrated on Anthony’s condition, Hunk was barely keeping things ahold on his side.

At the top–floor conference room of Clara Group, Sophia was accompanied by her two daughters, Emily and Amelia. Without a designated heir to inherit the company in sight, Sophia aimed to secure the company’s future under their family’s name,
With Shawn and Zachary deceased, Lewis incapacitated, and Anthony in a coma with an uncertain awakening, the Clara family’s sole remaining heirs were Lewis‘ daughters, Emily and Amrla. Traditionally, the family business had passed to male heirs, but no other successors remained in the Clara family lineage.
When Lewis awakened, he rejoiced over Anthony’s downfall and immediately directed his wife and daughters to seize control of the company
“Hunk, now that my daughters are the only ones left to inherit the Clara family business, someone like you should stick to your duties,” Sophia. remarked, her expression disdainful.
Their visit today was to obtain the company seal, but Hunk made every effort to dissuade them, imploring, “Mrs. Sophia Clara, Mr. Anthony Clara is currently hospitalized. Let’s not be impatient. We should wait until he regains consciousness before making any decisions,”
With a scoff, Sophia argued, “We don’t even know if he’ll wake up after such a shock at his age. Even if he does, this is the only option. My daughters are the only ones left to inherit the company.”
Hunk sneered inwardly, thinking. That’s not entirely accurate. Mr. Clara has a son out there” Nevertheless, he kept silent, knowing Isabella would need to approve it first.
Keeping a courteous expression, he requested, “Let’s wait for Mr. Clara to decide.”
Sophia, who had never taken much interest in the company, was unsure how to handle Hunk’s persistence. She waved her hand in frustration and snapped, “Fine. 111 wait another two days and see how this plays out.” With that, she left with her two daughters.
Hunk sighed in relief, thinking. Thankfully, they’re not too sharp. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to deceive them. But I can’t let this drag on. If Mr. Clara doesn’t wake up soon, I don’t know how much longer I can keep this up. I need to talk to Ms. Davis about taking Theodore hack to steady the situation.”
Hunt headed straight to Isabella’s place, arriving just as she was about to head to the hospital. He arrived just in time to chauffeur her there.
In the car. Hunk hesitated before recounting the events at the company involving Lewis‘ family. Then, he proposed, “That’s why I think it might be

wise for you to take Theodore back so that Lewis won’t have any other excuse.”
Isabella, who had been indifferent about the company, suddenly looked up with a serious expression when Hunk mentioned Theodore. Without hesitation, she firmly declined, “No. I won’t bring Theo into this.”
Hunk knew she would resist, so he could only patiently reason, “Ms. Davis, as Mr. Clara’s child, Theo can’t
pe this. Lewis is after you. Imagine if They took over the Clara family, wouldn’t they seek revenge for Lewis? What will you and Mr. Clara do then? What about Theo if anything happens to you two! You can’t just stand by.”
The barrage of questions from Hunk sobered Isabella’s expression. She acknowledged his reasoning but felt troubled at the thought of involving Theodore, who was still so young

Of all the terrible translations this is by far the worst. Garbled rubbish with different languages in between. I wouldn't recommend this novel!...
