Excitedly, Cynthia asked, “Izzy, when did you find out you were pregnant? Do you know how many months along you are?” 

Isabella, caught off guard by Anthony revealing her pregnancy, felt a bit embarrassed and replied softly, “I just found out yesterday and haven’t gone to the hospital for a check–up yet.” 

Anthony had planned to take Isabella to the hospital this morning, but upon learning about Cynthia’s pregnancy the previous night, Isabella decided to come over first.

Most people hope for a mix of sons and daughters. She already had Theo, so according to expectation, she might hope for a daughter this time. But she now felt that as long as it’s her own child, it doesn’t matter if it’s a son or a daughter. 

With a sweet smile, Isabella replied, “I look forward to having a son or a daughter.” 

Cynthia nodded in agreement, saying, “As long as this little one is born safely, it doesn’t matter if it’s a son or a daughter.” 

The three women sat on the sofa, discussing kids. Isabella, having experience in this area, often shared stories of her experiences with Theodore with the other two.
