Chapter 508
Isabella was half–supported by Anthony as she got out of the car, her complexion appearing somewhat pale.
The four gathered together, and Cynthia, observing Isabella’s condition, felt quite worried. She took a step forward, held Isabella’s wrist, and checked her pulse.
“Izzy, have you been losing your appetite recently? You look much thinner,” Cynthia inquired.
Isabella let out a soft sigh, weakly responding, “The baby in my belly is too restless. I have severe morning sickness now and can barely eat anything.”
“Was it the same when you were pregnant with Theo?” Cynthia’s brow furrowed as she examined Isabella closely.
At the mention, Isabella recalled past events. When she was expecting Theodore, she was emotionally drained, feeling gloomy all day, yet she didn’t experience much morning sickness. Now, with everything resolved, she was pregnant again but was suffering from severe nausea.
Earlier, Anthony had been concerned about Isabella’s intense vomiting and had even considered abortion, but she insisted on keeping the child. She had tasted the loneliness of being alone before, so she was determined to give Theo a sibling no matter what.
Isabella withdrew her wrist, wearing a relieved smile.
“Cynthia, it’s okay. Nausea during pregnancy is very common; maybe it’ll get better later. I believe the baby won’t make me sick for too long,” Isabella said and led the way towards the elevator, supporting herself. Watching Isabella’s retreating figure, Cynthia frowned with concern.
Isabella’s severe morning sickness could be due to hormonal reasons or possibly because her body was weakened during her pregnancy with Theo, resulting in such a strong reaction.
Thinking to herself, Cynthia decided that once they returned from the hospital, she would definitely prescribe some medication for Isabella.
Previously concerned about the potential side effects of medication and not
Isabella’s morning sickness would be this severe, Cynthia had not paid much attention. But now that the nausea had nearly taken a toll on Isabella’s body, Cynthia
knowin could not afford to wait any longer.
The group went directly to the VIP examination room. Mr. Zimmer, knowing they were coming for the prenatal checkup, had set aside special equipment and arranged for an experienced doctor to wait for them.
Isabella was examined first, with Cynthia watching closely by her side. Even though it was only around three months, the image of the little one could be seen clearly on the magnified screen. At that moment, the baby was in a prone position, looking incredibly cute.
Cynthia couldn’t take her eyes off the monitor, feeling a softness in her heart. She softly asked, “Izzy, do you think it’s a boy or a girl?”
“I don’t know. I hope it’s a girl,” Isabella replied gently, also focusing on the monitor, feeling extremely happy seeing the little one taking shape. She felt the suffering was totally worth it.
Isabella’s examination was completed in just over ten minutes. Next, it was Cynthia’s turn. Due to carrying twins, the examination took longer, nearly half an hour.
When the two came out of the examination room, the two men waiting outside quickly approached and supported their respective wives.
Cynthia handed the ultrasound report to Liam. Instead of immediately looking at it, Liam took out a snack from his pocket,

Over the past three months, Cynthia had become used to Liam’s thoughtfulness. She took a bite to satisfy her hunger before cuddling up to Liam, saying. Thank you, dear.”
Liam, looking fondly at Cynthia, wrapped his arm around her. He then carefully examined the ultrasound report. When he saw the two little ones on the screen, he was shaken, and his breathing quickened.
Bending down, he kissed Cynthia’s head, his voice trembling. “Are these our children?”
While Liam had been excited upon learning about Cynthia’s pregnancy with twins, seeing the two little people in Cynthia’s belly now made his heart feel soft. He held Cynthia tightly, whispering softly, “Cynthia, thank you. I feel truly happy now.”
Cynthia smiled sweetly, responding tenderly, “Darling, I am happy too.”
Just as the two huddled close together, there was suddenly a commotion nearby. Isabella made retching sounds towards the trash can. Anthony, no longer interested in looking at the ultrasound report, was solely focused on caring for his wife.
Upon hearing the commotion, Cynthia quickly retreated from Liam’s embrace and hurried to Isabella’s side. She swiftly massaged a few pressure points on Isabella’s back, quickly relieving her vomiting. Isabella uncomfortably held her chest and slowly sat down on a chair.
“Izzy, if you keep vomiting like this, your body will eventually collapse. Why don’t you stay at Regalian Garden for a while so I can take care of you properly?” Cynthia expressed her concerns.
Isabella hesitated for a moment before she was about to decline. Anthony, beside her, spoke up, “Do you have a way to Calleviate morning sickness?”
“I can try. It may not completely alleviate it, but it should help a lot more than now,” Cynthia replied.
“Okay. I’ll arrange for luggage right away, and I’ll come stay with Izzy,” Anthony decisively decided.
Seeing Isabella suffering like this, he felt utterly helpless; it was torture. Upon hearing that Cynthia could alleviate the morning sickness, Anthony didn’t hesitate to agree to stay at Regalian Garden. He would even agree to move to Mars as long as Isabella could get better.
Liam, standing nearby, raised an eyebrow, his expression dark. “Isabella can stay, why do you need to come along?”
“Where my wife is, I am. Your dissatisfaction doesn’t matter,” Anthony retorted bluntly.
At these words, Liam’s disdain was clear. “You’re the CEO of a big company, how can you behave so childishly?”
“At least I’m not as petty as you,” Anthony fired back.

Of all the terrible translations this is by far the worst. Garbled rubbish with different languages in between. I wouldn't recommend this novel!...
