Chapter 55
Soon, a car sped along the mountain road and arrived at the top of the mountain.
Arvin got off in a hurry.
When Yolanda saw him, she looked weak, her eyes filled with tears.
She looked pitiful.
Arvin felt sorry for her.
Seeing her beloved one holding another girl in his arms, Queena grumbled, pouting.
She said, “Hypocritical!”
Arvin carefully held Yolanda’s face in his hand. Looking at the clear five fingerprints on it, he burst into anger.
“Who beat you?”
The voice seemed to be squeezed out of his teeth, revealing his current mood.
On the way there, Yolanda had told him the whole story.
Arvin looked at the only strange face present.
He wondered, ‘How could a beautiful little girl make Yolanda so afraid?”
“It’s me.”
Without flinching, Cynthia admitted it and looked back at Arvin with firm and merciful eyes.
From what Queena had just said, it could be seen that Arvin was a simp.
Yolanda always ordered him, and in others‘ eyes, she even didn’t consider him a backup, but he was still standing up for her.
Cynthia thought, ‘Stupid!‘
Hearing Cynthia’s words, Arvin clenched his fists, and the blue veins on his hands were obvious.
He held back his anger and didn’t do anything to Cynthia.
But looking in the direction of Liam, Arvin said painfully, “You know I care about Yolanda. How could you bully her like this?”

“We bullied her? Do you know she almost knocked Liam and Cynthia off the cliff just now?” Vincent wanted to see what was on Arvin’s mind.
“Arvin, I didn’t. She bumped into my car by accident because of a sudden dazzling light.” Pulling Arvin’s sleeve, Yolanda explained pitifully.
At this time, Arvin was still wearing a doctor’s uniform which generally he couldn’t wear outside the hospital. It could be seen how anxious he was when he came there.
Arvin looked at his friends with disappointment. “It’s normal to have a car crash at night because of the high beam lights. What do you mean by doing this now?”
His unconditional trust in Yolanda made all the people present frown and speechless.
Yolanda felt gloating in her heart. She knew she could be safe as long as Arvin was with her.
While she was happy, someone else was sad.
Cynthia looked back at Queena, only to find that the lively and cheerful girl looked gloomy.
Cynthia then looked at Liam, who was unusually silent at the moment. Coldness condensed in his eyes, making it difficult to see his true emotions.
Cynthia knew that Liam was in a dilemma between his love and his good friend.
She didn’t want to put Liam in a difficult position, so she planned to seek justice for herself.
She squatted down and looked at Arvin.
“Do you trust her so much?”
Hearing this, Arvin looked back at Cynthia.
Cynthia had a pretty but serious face, looking confident.
It seemed that as long as Arvin admitted it, Cynthia would immediately show evidence to refute it.
Nevertheless, Arvin didn’t buy it.
“I trust her more than you.”
Everyone was speechless at Arvin.
Cynthia smiled.
It was as she expected.

Chapter 55
“I hope you can still be so stubborn later,” said Cynthia. She stood up and took the key to the driver’s seat of the
two cars.
She copied the vehicle recorders to her phone.
A few minutes later, the key information was copied, Then, Cynthia turned on the phone and put it in front of
Arvin.
Two videos came from two cars, which could clearly show what had happened.
From the videos, Cynthia didn’t turn on the high beam. Even if the light was a little dazzling, Yolanda couldn’t have made a mistake because she couldn’t see clearly.
In particular, Yolanda had won a place in a racing match before, so it was impossible for her to have no reaction at
all.
“Do you still wanna support her now?” asked Cynthia in a deep voice.
Yolanda’s face changed dramatically. She had deleted the data of the driver recorder of the car she drove just now. Why did Cynthia have it?
Arvin had already understood what was going on. His anger disappeared, and he was silent.
Fearing that Arvin would give up on her, Yolanda shivered and leaned into his arms.
Her pitiful look made people want to protect her.
“Arvin, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do that. Please help me.”
Yolanda grabbed Arvin’s clothes as if he were a life–saving straw.
She did not doubt that if Arvin didn’t help her, then Liam would probably kill her.
Not to mention her identity as the eldest daughter of the Wilde family, the Wilde family was nothing in front of the
Sullivan family.
Arvin was in a dilemma now. Yolanda was the woman he loved, and Liam was his friend who had almost grown up together with him.
Finally, Arvin raised his head and said, “Ms. Larson, I apologize on behalf of Yolanda for what she did. Now that you’re fine and she was slapped by you, can you forgive her for my sake?”
“You’re really affectionate,” said Cynthia sarcastically.
She added, “But I’m not acquainted with you. Why should I forgive her for your sake? She wanted to kill us. We’re

Of all the terrible translations this is by far the worst. Garbled rubbish with different languages in between. I wouldn't recommend this novel!...
