Connor furrowed his brow, "Yeah, I already heard."
Camila gave an awkward smile and looked down to text Erica, **He's fine.**
Connor glanced at Camila, retorting, "Do I really look that scary?"
Camila shot him a look, "You did look pretty grumpy just now; anyone would think you were here to collect a debt."
Connor huffed, "Well, maybe if you had told me about Erica and that guy sooner."
"You never asked," Camila replied.
Connor smirked, "At least now I’m not the one who has to worry."
Just then, Logan pulled up to the front door of the villa.
As Erica got into the car, she turned to Logan and casually asked, "Did Connor tell you I was around home?"
Logan’s gaze was a bit cool, his tone subtly tinged with jealousy, "He didn’t mention it, so I had no clue your date tonight was with the boy next door."
Erica was momentarily taken aback, then burst out laughing, "The boy next door? Hahaha!"
Logan’s expression remained unchanged, his voice even calmer, "Are you close to him?"
Leaning on her hand, Erica tilted her head, pretending to ponder seriously, "Well, we’ve known each other for 20 years since this old villa complex was built."
Logan responded nonchalantly, yet his jealousy was increasingly apparent.
Thinking he was unfazed, Erica blinked and teasingly said, "We were each other’s first love."
Screech—
Logan braked hard, turning to stare intently at Erica, "First love?"
Erica was startled by his reaction.
Logan steered the car to the side of the road.
