Logan mentioned casually, "That guy's cousin, we grew up together."
Erica just gave a casual "Hmm" and didn’t ask any more questions.
A while later, Camila came over.
"You guys go ahead and head back to your rooms. I still need a bit more time here."
Erica immediately offered to stay with her, so Connor and Logan left the venue and made their way to their hotel rooms.
As they walked down the hallway, Connor suddenly asked, "Have you been avoiding Rita lately?"
Logan was silent for a moment before slowly responding, "Maybe."
Connor placed a hand on his shoulder, "Don’t keep her waiting and wondering."
Logan sighed, "Sometimes I think it’s better to just get it over with. Dragging this out might make Erica misunderstand."
Connor gave him a sideways glance, "Clearing things up is important, but don't be too harsh."
After wrapping up her duties and being the last to leave with the logistics team, Camila breathed a sigh of relief, feeling the night’s busyness finally come to an end.
Erica, linking her arm with Camila’s, beamed and said, "You’ve worked so hard. Connor’s company is a great place for you. You've grown so much here."
Camila nodded, deeply moved, "I never expected such a drastic change; it feels almost surreal."
From her initial confusion and insecurity when she started working, to now being able to handle complex tasks on her own, this growth and transformation even surprised herself.
Erica laughed, "After all those tough years, it’s about time for some good fortune!"
