Chapter 253
Sage turned to Leah, ignoring him. “Leah, do you still want that bracelet?” Leah shook her head. She wanted to get it for her sister, but who would have imagined what happened there?
Sage would never accept it.
“My sister doesn’t want it anymore,” Sage replied with a cold tone and an even colder expression.
She was unwilling to let it go.
Adrian James felt ants crawling in his head as he diverted all his anger to the manager and the sales advisor. He scolded and swore at them as everyone heard him through the speaker.
“Two of you, leave immediately. I don’t want to see you in my store anymore!” The manager knew they must have offended someone important as their boss licked their boots.
He dragged his sister-in-law and said, “What are you waiting for? Go! You’ve caused huge trouble!”
The sales advisor glared at Sage as she left unwillingly.
Sage smiled at her. “What’s your uncle’s name again?”
“Timothy Langham-the deputy chief police officer! Are you afraid now?” The sales advisor replied with a smug look.
Sage nodded lightly. “Yes. I’m afraid he can’t handle the trouble you’re about to cause him.”
“Huh?”
Leah was dumbstruck. Since when did she help with anything?
Sage turned to her. “Do you think I’m bullying them?” Leah shook her head vigorously. “They had a nasty attitude. I know you were only trying to help me.” “Yes and no.”
Sage felt tired from all the talking. She looked at Hunter, and he immediately continued explaining.
“Your sister was already interested in this shop, especially the location. She was still thinking about ways of acquiring it. Coincidentally, they picked the wrong fight today.” Leah finally understood a little and looked at her sister innocently. “Sis, did you do it on purpose?”
Sage laughed, not saying a word. Hunter smirked at Sage. “Our Miss Sage is tricky. She didn’t revive the entire Norah Group by being fair and just.”
