A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 263

Chapter 263 Yoel was the only one on that table who could comment about the dishes. He glared angrily at Jim’s behind.

At that moment, Yoel was inspired to write a poem about his behind. He would title it ‘Behind the Food’.

Everyone enjoyed themselves at the Tasteful Restaurant that night. They were all drunk in the end, and Yoel was surrounded by the female designers all night. He defended his virtue to the end and yelled at Sage, who was far away. “Sage, you can’t do this to me! Please get your staff away from me..”… Sage waved her hand in the air. “You’re welcome.” Jim closed the door after her. Yoel grumbled, “Sh*t! Hey, stop touching me! Get your hands off me! I’m calling the cops…”

It was a midsummer night, and the sky was filled with stars. Sage felt a chilly breeze, and suddenly, she felt a weight on her shoulders. Jim placed his coat on her. Sage shuddered as she looked at his white tee and looked up at him. Jim misunderstood her actions and said, “Miss Sage, don’t worry, I just got it back from the cleaners. It’s freshly washed”.

Sage took a whiff. The coat smelled of soap. Jim was petrified by her movement. He hurriedly turned away and said, “I’ve got to go now. See you, Miss Sage!” Jim ran several yards as though there was an army chasing him. He turned back to wave at her.

…

“Goodnight!”

Sage smiled and waved back at him. The young chef vanished in the dark. Sage pulled the white coat closer to her as she got into the car. “Let’s go.”

Meanwhile, at Nadeem City, Jace called Helena, the head of design at Yuriel Jewelry, on his way back to the Yuriel Mansion.

“You’re still unable to contact Master of Jade?”.

Helena had used up all her connections at that point. “I’ve asked around, and no one seems to actually know who she is. Even my classmate told me firmly that Master of Jade is unwilling to work with us. She won’t be giving out her contact information even if she has it.”

Jace’s face darkened, “Did you find out why Master of Jade was so against the Yuriel Group? What was the real reason for her detesting to work with us?” “I did ask her. At first, she told me that Master of Jade had no time on her schedule, but I knew that was an excuse. I grilled her about it.”

Helena carefully suggested, “Mr. Yuriel, I heard you have relations with Norah Group’s president. Maybe you could try asking her?”

Jace’s face completely darkened.

What relations? As divorcees?
