Chapter 272 “Sheesh…you didn’t hold back at all huh.” Yoel looked himself in the mirror as he examined his bruises and complained to Sage. Sage had no guilt at all. She even thought she could have hit harder. “You asked for it, so why are you complaining now?'”
Sage’s heart skipped a beat when she looked at the painting on the wall that was nearly destroyed. It was worth more than Yoel’s life.
Yoel knew that Sage was a tough nut to crack, but he didn’t expect the heir of Fulton worth nothing to Sage Norah. She wouldn’t even sell him her ovaries.
He stuck a band-aid on his bruises. It hurt a lot.
“I came to you because you have five half-siblings and that you might’ve been more open minded about these issues, but I guess I was wrong…” Sage interrupted Yoel, “Who else knew about it except you and Jace?”
“I’m not sure, but I don’t think anyone else knew. Please, your files are almost impossible to decrypt for me, who else could do it?”
Yoel took a glance at Sage and she still looked as if she was about to murder someone. His body shrinked lower down, “Are you… thinking about killing me?”
“I’ve thought about it,” Sage replied coldly. “The others that knows about this secret are already dead. And even if I let you live, my brothers won’t spare you. So Mr. Fulton, please thread carefully.”
Yoel previously thought Sage was kidding, but now he was fearing for his life.
