Chapter 291 As Sage hugged Leah from behind and leaned onto her, Leah nodded her head. What would she need to rely on a man when she had Sage that loved her?
Hunter was at a loss for words. He could already imagine how hard it would be to satisfy and please Leah in the future. It was Sage’s birthday and her brothers would be coming to Salem City. Sage decided to give herself a day off from work but still, she had to make sure that urgent work was dealt with. Hence, she had Hunter bring her the work documents to Rosa Garden.
Sage wanted to put on the rhinestone tassel headband that was a gift from Leah but realized that her rose-red colored hair did not suit the headband. Hence, she called for a stylist over to her house to help her fix her hair.
While getting her hair done, Sage continued working. Leah sat on the bedroom floor and sketched. Seeing how Sage was conversing in a video conference meeting with several international partners, using different languages, Leah could not help but stare at her in admiration.
Hunter caught a glimpse of Leah’s gaze. Walking over to her and snapping his fingers in front of her, Hunter asked, “What’s with those eyes?”
Hunter felt that something was not quite right.
“Hunter, Sage knows so many languages!” Leah thought that Sage was admirable because languages were always her weakest subject. She was also impressed that Sage was able to converse and switch easily between the different languages.
Hunter replied, “I think Sage knows more than these. Aside from the four languages that you hear now, she knows a total of eight languages and she’s well-versed in all of them. Adding some of the dialects, I think there’s a total of ten languages. Who knows, she might be a language genius.” With her eyes lit up, Leah was deeply impressed. “Is there anything that Sage doesn’t know?”
“Of course.” Hunter was rather jealous that Leah admired Sage that much. He wanted to expose Sage to reduce Leah’s admiration for her. Puzzled, Leah looked at him and asked, “What is it?”. ” Stealing a glance at Sage, Hunter whispered to Leah, “She cannot sing at all, and neither can she dance.”
