Chapter 327 It’s common knowledge that maintaining a business is even harder than starting a business. The truth is that Sawyer and Primrose had built a strong and sturdy empire, and there was not a chance that it will fail in the hands of someone like Sage.
Sage visited the branch office at noon and had dinner with the general manager and higher management team. She reached her hotel quite late in the evening.
Sage had quite a bit of the rice wine made locally in Ark Town, and it tasted slightly sweet. She had gotten a little tipsy and her face was red as she got down from the car.
Hunter assisted her down the car and held on to her bag while looking at her worriedly, “Miss Sage, you okay? Can you walk? Should I carry you into your room?”
Hunter gave her his back but Sage slapped his back and said, “Get up, I don’t need you. I can walk, I’m not drunk.”
Hunter looked helpless and said quietly, “Drunkards never said they’re drunk…”
“I’m really not drunk!” Sage was fazed out but she still insisted on being sober, “You don’t believe me? Let me walk in a straight line for you!” She then proceeded to walk in a zig-zag line.
Hunter was speechless. This is… your straight?’ He watched her as she almost face planted the glass door, “Be careful!” He stopped yelling as someone came up to her and held her up.
Jace was utterly dumbfounded . Idiot man? His veins popped as he asked, “What did you just call me?” Hunter felt a cool breeze coming through and he hurriedly fetched Sage from Jace’s arms and wanted to explain, but Sage said it again in a proper enunciation, “Idiot man.” She eyen poked his chest as she said it.
