A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 331

Chapter 331 Sage walked out of Dean’s ward and headed to the conference room to discuss about the paralyzed patient’s case. As she walked out of the door, Jace stood frozen at the same location.

He looked like he had just taken a beating. Who wronged him?

Sage glanced at him and looked away immediately. She did not want to care for him, so she headed her way.

“Doctor S.”

  • He called her with a low and hoarse voice. He was even trembling a little as he spoke.

Sage stopped walking. Oh, yes, she accidentally leaked her identity to him when she came here. Footsteps were heard behind her, and Jace walked slowly towards Sage and stood in front of her. His red eyes were staring intently at her.

Jace looked ill. He slowly opened his mouth and his voice asked dryly, “When were you planning to tell me the truth?” Sage looked up at him, expressionless.

They were standing too close together. Sage was not used to it, so she took a step back to maintain a certain distance between them. Just like he did all those years to her.

Jace looked at her as she dodged and rejected him, his eyes darkened again from that action. He dreadfully forced a mockery smile, “You keep playing with my feelings, over and over again. Do you think this is some kind of joke? Is this you seeking vengeance?”

When he said those words, he trembled as if someone had just cheated on him.

Sage remained calm, scarily calm. She smiled and asked, “Vengeance is for those who wronged me. Mister Yuriel, do you think you’ve wronged me?”
