A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 337

Chapter 337

Jim turned to give her a comforting smile, “They won’t hurt me, I’m Dean’s brother after all.” He let go of Sage’s hand and quickly closed the car door.

As he got out of the car, he got hit with rotten eggs and tomatoes. The cold and slimy concoction ran down from his head and down to his cheeks and neck.

He was unfazed though, and he yelled, “Everyone, I’m Dean’s brother, listen to me —” The crowd went a little quieter as they heard he was Dean’s brother.

Jim said loud and clear, “I understand you’re worried about my brother, but please think logically and don’t make assumptions before things are clear, and please don’t break the law! You’re only affecting my brother and putting pressure on him. You have to put trust in Miss Norah, she won’t treat my brother poorly.”

Despite his speech, the agitated fans did not buy what he said. “Are you Dean’s brother? Why are you helping that capitalist evil woman? Did she pay you to say so? Go to hell! Dean doesn’t need a brother like you. You don’t deserve him!”

A rotten egg flew over in Jim’s direction.

“Yeah! How dare you educate us! Don’t think we won’t beat you up just because you’re good looking. Old woman, come out of the car at once!”

As a tomato almost hit Jim’s face, it was caught by a single hand just in time. And it threw the tomato back. “Aaahhh!” Someone in the crowd yelled in pain, the tomato hit the woman who threw it in the first place.

A cold voice transmitted from the back, “Who’s older, me or you?”

Their voice grew louder and louder. Sage could not take it anymore and she fumed as she saw Jim covered in egg and tomato liquid. Her anger grew exponentially.
