Chapter 520
No wonder they were unreachable. Both Sage and Laura kept their phones in the locker. Henry made a wild guess, “Did they leave upon knowing your arrivals as they didn’t want to see both of you?”
Jace and Kane said simultaneously, “Impossible!”
Henry was dumbfounded. Jace held Sage’s phone in one hand and her clothes in the other. His face looked darkened with his brows frowned hard.
Even if they did not want to see them, they would not just leave their belongings behind. They might be easily angered, but they were not reckless and would not act so irresponsible.
Jace and Kane stared at the surveillance monitor and tried to track them down, and they were last seen walking in the hallway laughing at each other, wearing cute cartoon pajamas.
Sage had a white lounge set on with yellow ducks, and Laura wore a pink pajama set with bears on it. They dressed just like a couple of elementary school girls.
If it were any other time, both Kane and Jace would spend a great deal of time admiring these cute outfits on their girls, but they were not in the mood. Sage and Laura were seen walking toward the spring waters’ direction.
A woman looked into the monitor and asked them, “Are you looking for your girlfriend?” Jace and Kane did not respond to her. She then added, “I recognized them.”
