A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 530

Chapter 530

This colorful enamel bowl was not the same as the four bowls Sage purchased at the charity dinner a long time ago.

Sage’s eyes lit up as soon as she placed it inthe pal of her hand.

“Was this from the ancient golden years?”

Jace’s eyes twinkled. He knew Sage loved antique goods, but he did not expect her eyes to be that sharp

He said with a smile, “Yeah.” Then, he asked, “How did you know?”

Sage slowly turned the small bowl with a white bottom in her hand. While she observed it, bouts of information flashed in her mind.

The colorful enamel bowl had plum blossoms and peony patterns. It was probably made in the ancient golden years. It had a bigger mouth, a beautifully curved wall, and a round bottom. The bowl was even painted with a white glaze inside. The enamel drawing outside depicted two plum blossoms on the old branches, in full bloom.

She muttered subconsiouly, “The enamel bowls from the ancient silver years were less decorated and simple, but the enamel bowls from the ancient golden years always came with paintings of flowers, landscapes, and figures. It also came with poems inscriptions and seals. The crafter loved integrating traditional arts in all forms as one style. Besides, the enamel bowls from the ancient silver years usually has a darker bottom, but the enamel bowls from the ancient golden years mostly has a white bottom.”

“That’s a good observation.”

Jace showed admiration for her in his eyes. He explained, “This is the colorful enamel bowl with plum painting from the ancient golden years.”

Jade read out the poem as soon as Sage saw the poem-inscribed on the side of the bowl. “After a hundred chirps and a thousand voices, new flowers and grass will arrive once again.”

Jace smiled gently, “This is for you.” Sage was still in a trance when he told her that it was for her.

She suddenly remembered something that had happened at the charity dinner before. They were both competing to win the bid for the four colorful enamel bowls. He kept raising the bid against her and finally won the bid. He was so determined to win the bid back then.

“This is for me?”

Sage put the bowl back into the box, but her gaze was still fixated on the precious bowl. She said with a small smile, “Mister Jace, when did you become so generous? Why are you gifting such a treasured item to me?”

She gently closed the wooden box and said, “I’ll take it.”
