Sage decided to ask about Madam Meyer. 

Sage was not a busybody, she had enough things to worry about. However, since it could affect her brother, she ought to know. 

Sage knew how easy it is for men to fall into the trap of a good-looking woman. However, Sage would be able to see her for who she is, removed from the bias of feelings. There was no way that Sage would let a woman trick her brother. Tim was uninterested in Sage’s proposal. 

“I have no interest in your gratitude,” replied Tim as he turned away. 

Sage ran over and stopped Tim from leaving, she shoved the airplane model in his face and asked, “I made this. Doesn’t it look so life-like?” 

“Life-like? Are your airplanes alive?” asked Tim. 

Sage wasn’t about to give up now, “Look here, there’s a miniature in the airplane. Look closely, who do you think it resembles?” 

Sage tried her best to appear friendly to break the ice between them. 

Tim peered at the miniature and said, “A bull and a cow.” 

Sage was speechless at her brother’s sarcastic remark. 

Sage could feel her temper rising, “I don’t care! I showed you my present. You have to tell me what is going on between you and Madam Meyer!” Tim glared at Sage and asked, “Do you have a death wish?” 

Sage subconsciously took a step back, but she immediately stepped forward again, “What are you hiding? There’s nothing to hide if there’s nothing between you guys!” “I have nothing to hide,” replied Tim nonchalantly. “Brother, are you fornicating with Madam Meyer?” asked Sage. Even if Tim did not know what fornicating meant, he could still decipher the meaning through the context and the tone of Sage’s voice. “What are you talking about?!” replied Tim. Tim was not somebody who likes to talk about others behind their backs, but he could not endure Sage’s unrelenting barrage of questions. He finally caved in and told her about Madam Meyer’s situation. Sage’s original guess wasn’t that far off. 

Madam Meyer fell for Tim and started to go after him. This caused quite the stir-up in the elites and everybody knew about them. 

However, Tim doesn’t harbor the same feelings towards Madam Meyer. 

Tim already deny any advances Madam Meyer made towards him and even gave Madam Meyer the cold shoulder, but that did not affect Madam Meyer in any shape or form, her affection for Tim remained strong.
