Chapter 734 After the meeting, Sage led her assistants to the CEO‘s office. As soon as she stepped into the office, she stopped at the door. 

She had never been to Jace‘s office, so she did not know what it looked like. It should be similar to his study with a masculine monotone palette... right? 

Her new office was different from her expectation. It was similar to her office in Norah Group. It was decorated in an antique style with mahogany tables, chairs, and paintings that could be seen on the wall. There was also a wine cooler and a pair of slippers in the office. 

Sage turned to Zayne, “Assistant Zayne, did you do this for me?” 

Zayne folded his hands and nodded slightly. “Yes. Time was limited, so I had someone come over and put up the wallpaper made with environmentally friendly materials. I got this mahogany table, chairs, and coffee table from the furniture shop. As for the paintings on the wall, I requested the calligraphy from Wayne and the painting from Mister Mendoza. These other few paintings are my humble works. I put them up to fill the space. If you don‘t like it, I‘ll have them removed.” 

“Did you paint this?” Sage walked in, took off her high heels, and put on the slippers. She put her hands in her pockets and took a closer look at the two paintings on the wall. 

Zayne glanced back and gave Henry and Zachary a look. They continued to set up what they had to do, while Zayne walked up to Sage in small steps. 

“Yes, I did. After I worked with Mister Jace, I learned to appreciate art more. I also enrolled in an art school and learned to paint for a few years. Otherwise, I wouldn‘t be able to comment on the paintings upon Mister Jace‘s request.” 

Zayne tucked his hand with a smile. He became a little nervous when he saw Sage staring at the painting for a long time without saying a word. 

“As compared to you, my painting skills are at most at the basic level. I‘m sure we‘ll come across nicer paintings soon. I‘ll take it down right away and not let them be an eyesore for you. 

“No, keep it.” Sage finally spoke and looked at Zayne. “Assistant Zayne, you‘re talented.” Zayne was confused. Was it a praise or a critique if it came from her? 

Sage was praising him. Sage finally understood why a man as bad–tempered as Jace could keep Zayne by his side for that many years. Zayne‘s attention to detail and thoughtfulness were a great example to other assistants. Sage took out her phone and took two photos of Zayne‘s paintings. Then, she sent them to Hunter.
