It was almost New Year‘s Eve, and the box office of The Double Life of Veronia continuing to rise to a new record. The review of the movie was also stable at 9.1. The director, editor, and the production team were all very satisfied with the review and result. 

Other than attending the premiere, Sage did not participate in the rest of the publicity events. She was too busy and unable to free up her time. However, she would still look at the movie review when she was free. After preparing to receive criticism from the public, she was surprised to find out how friendly the public had commented on her. 

“Probably, they did not have a high expectation of me, so they could easily accept my acting skills as long as it was not too lame,” Sage said. Luther widened his eyes. “What? Have you seen you in the movie? You were great! All the Bennett ended up in tears as we watched the movie. Suzy is trending now! So wicked yet passionate.” 

Sage smiled as she did not feel the way Luther felt. She never lacked any confidence and was self–knowledge. Of course, it was great to be acknowledged by other people. However, she knew Seth and Chitose had written the script based on her image. It meant that she was mostly acting herself. Many of the things in the movie were something that she was good at, so there was no difficulty in that. Unlike Seth and Suki, they really did make a breakthrough in their acting 

It was the first time Seth acted as a psychopathic man. His fans had gone wild and crazy. They commented that their image with Seth had totally turned 180 degrees, and Seth had totally blown their minds while they were attracted to his character in the movie. However, Seth kept telling his fans and audience to calm down. “Don‘t choose a man based on his cover. If you meet someone like that, it‘s best to stay as far away as possible.” 

Suki had never attempted to act as a gentle and intellectual woman until this movie. “I used to play the bad woman in movies and mostly those sexy and seductive characters. I must thank the director and editor for discovering the gentle and soft side of me.” 

Seth expressed, “Maybe next time I could write a shrew character for you. Then you can be yourself.” 

“What?” Suki looked at him, “Am I not gentle and soft?” 

Seth said, “Nope, I don‘t think so.” 

The crowd was amused with their interaction and burst out in laughter. Then they saw the best actress running after the best actor wanting to punch him. The crowd thought, ‘What a lovely couple.‘ 

The director found it very amusing that he laughed so hard. Whereas Chitose did not feel the same, he covered his eyes. ‘Hello, can the both of you at least care about the feelings of the single man?‘ 

Some people specialize in some professions while others in other professions. Sage felt she was just an amateur, and hopefully, she would not stand out among the professionals. 

After Tim finished the movie, he said without any emotion, “Don‘t be so harsh with yourself in the future.” 

Sage blushed. Only the closest person to her knew most of the dramatic scenes in the movie were the actual experience she had in real life. She decided to participate in the movie to let Shawn see that she was still alive and living a good and decent life. If he had the courage, he could show himself and come to look for her. They could take the opportunity to settle all of the feuds they had over the years.
