Was he too late again?
After some time, Yale finally walked toward them. “We shouldn’t stay here for too long. Let’s go back to Rosa Garden.”
Yale drove them back to Rosa Garden. It was a spectacular sight to see ten identical bulletproof cars on the road.
Sage and Jace sat in the back in silence during the whole journey.
The scenery outside the window flew past them.
Sage’s eyes were still red, but she was no longer crying. Her emotions seemed to have calmed down. However, she still had many questions and doubts in her mind. She wanted to ask him, but she was unable to start.
Even so, he was still alive. This alone was more important than any of her questions. She did not even feel like asking him anything anymore.

Luther was looking at Sage’s arm before seeing Jace’s face in the next beat. He was so shocked and took a big step back in fright.
