Chapter 829 Once Luther heard their fathers were drinking at the garden igloo, his mouth began to salivate. “Let‘s go. They‘re very picky so I‘m sure that whatever they‘re drinking, it‘ll be of top
quality.”
Seth and Nigel did not want to interrupt their fathers but Luther was not about to let them go. “Come on, let‘s go. It‘s a once in a blue moon chance to go right now.”
As he kept on persuading them by acting cute, Seth and Nigel began to be more annoyed.” Stop your disgusting act. Do you think that you‘re a child?”
Sage was not interested in joining them, so she went upstairs by herself. After a surprising and shocking day, she was famished. By then, she finally remembered to check her phone. As she opened her WhutsApp, she noticed that Jace had sent her a video. Cole and Yoel had too much to drink and started to be in drunken brawls.
Yoel‘s face had turned red. He kept on pointing at Jace‘s phone. “Hey, stop filming. Why are you filming all of this for? Hurry up and finish your drink!” He stumbled drunkenly, “Dude, do you know how sad I was when I thought you were dead? They always said a man should not cry easily but I really cried like a baby because of you. Right, Cole?”
Cole was so drunk that his eyes were glossy and he could not concentrate at all. “You‘re right! We cried so hard that we almost flooded the entire city!”
“Come on, let‘s cheers to that,” Yoel giggled.
Cole also raised his glass, “Cheers!”
Sage was amused and chuckled as she looked at the two silly d*mb and d*mber. ‘Boys will always boys... They really must have to drink to the fullest to show how deep their friendships are.‘
It was as if Jace knew Sage had already watched the video, because at that time he sent a message to her, (How‘s it going on your side? Are Aunt Primrose and Uncle Sawyer hurt?] Sage replied, (My dad, Tim and Kane got hurt. They already had their surgery. Luckily, it they were minor injuries.) Jace texted, (Are you free to talk? I‘d like to give you a call.] Sage replied instantly, (No.] Right when Jace wanted to reply, he saw another message pop out in the chat. Sage texted, [ I‘m about to take a shower.] He was shocked but Sage retracted the message instantly. ‘Too late, I saw it.‘ Jace curled up his lips and replied, (Don‘t worry. I‘ll pretend that I didn‘t see it.] Sage‘s face was burning from the embarrassment. Obviously, it made sense that Jace saw the message. ‘Big fat liar!‘
After that, she sent an emoji that with a clenching a fist, [Be careful. I‘m going to punch your teeth off.] Jace looked at the emoji and chuckled lightly. His whole body bobbled from the thought. ‘Why is she so cute?‘
After Sage finished showering, she finally felt less shy about the awkward moment. She put on her robe and looked at her phone. Jace had sent an emoji to show that he was sorry. “Whatever,” Sage snorted but for some reason, she felt very cheerful.
