“Did the interview end?” 

Jace walked toward her, it was all so natural to him, like a boyfriend visiting his girlfriend during work. His assistant brought tea, pastries, and cupcakes for the team while Jace passed the cup of frappe he bought to Sage. “Cookies whipped cream, Faye said this was the best.” 

Sage took it and before she could say anything, Jace added, “Even though I want you to put on some weight, one cup of frappe isn‘t going to make you fat, so don‘t worry.” Was that really what Sage cared about at that moment? 

Sage looked up and glared jokingly at Jace, “Why are you here? Shouldn‘t you be home with grandpa and grandma?” “They said I‘m a bother and kicked me out.” 

Jace crouched and took the frappe from Sage‘s hand as he poked a straw into the cup and gave it back to her, “I came to console you too.” “I‘m not angry, why do I need to be consoled?” 

Sage slurped the frappe, it was sweet but not overly so, delicious. Jace nodded, “Right, you have a good temper, great.” 

Sage puffed her cheeks up, that did not feel sincere to her at all. Jace turned to look at Samantha and stood up, “Thank you for coming all the way here, Miss Holland.” 

“You‘re most welcome, Mister Jace. We want to thank Miss Sage for cooperating so well with us.” 

Samantha smiled and continued, “To be frank with you, we were pretty nervous about this session, but it turned out to be a really pleasant session. The result should reflect that as well. We‘ll send over the final draft for you to go through when we’re done with editing, let us know if there are any changes you‘d like to be made then.” “Alright,” Jace and Sage nodded as they hummed yes. 

Samantha then said to Jace, “I wonder when I‘ll get to interview you again, Mister Jace. I‘m interested in your experience of escaping death.” 

“Soon.” 

Jace continued, “I need more time to rest and recover.” 

“Understood.” 

Samantha nodded, looked at the pair in front of her, and noticed how great they looked together. “I‘m also planning on doing an interview session of a couple, unmarried, married, 

or divorced, are the both of you interested?” 

Jace and Sage were both stunned and speechless, they looked at each other and paused before Jace responded, “Maybe after we get married.” 

Sage almost spat out her frappe. 

That man sure was hopeful! After the interview team left, Sage asked Jace, “Did you ask Miss Holland to interview me?” “Yeah,” Jace was honest, he said, “I was interviewed by Samantha before and she left a really good impression on me. I feel that it‘d be better for you to be interviewed, that way the public gets to know who you are, instead of being bombarded with questions by hives of journalists. How do you feel after the interview?”
