Chapter 866
Sage was attacked for no reason and went speechless. She looked at them helplessly as they continued chattering.
“Moms, let’s talk about something serious first.”
Primrose said, “Okay, sure. If you want to teach Luna a lesson, hiring internet trolls to scold her is useless. A homewrecker like her is very shameless and thick-skinned. None of these will hurt her.”
“‘Then how should I do it?” Sage frowned. “She’s pregnant right now. I can’t beat her up, right?”
Sean educated her about the law. “Assaulting a pregnant woman is a crime of assault. It’s a felony.”
Sage was speechless. “I know. I have common sense and know this much about the law. She’s daring enough to cause trouble because she’s pregnant now, isn’t she?”
“If a pregnant woman breaks the law, she’s as guilty as other lawbreakers. She won’t receive any preferential treatment for being pregnant.”
Sean looked at Freya. “If you want this to stop here, you can sue her. If you get enough evidence, you can file a case.” Freya said, “I know what you mean, but this time, I don’t want to do anything to Luna.” The crowd raised their eyebrows at her words.
Primrose already knew what she meant and chuckled. “I think that’ll work.” “Mom.” Jace looked at Freya in slight confusion. “What do you mean?”
Freya’s face was calm. “Hasn’t Luna been trying to be the chief’s wife for years? What if the chief is a different person?”
Sage was lost for words and looked shocked. Aunt Freya was finally going to make a move.
Back then, Freya was heartbroken and hurt by Lucas’s betrayal. Despite their broken relationship, she did not crush him because he was still Jace’s biological father. That was why he kept his name and status as the reputed chief. However, his position had long been in jeopardy without the Yuriel family’s support.
Freya, Primrose, and Sage were similar kinds of people. They did not want to make another woman’s life worse. Even if their marriage went wrong, the first thing they would do was to teach their men a lesson. They were unlike the other women who would tolerate the betrayal and fight the mistress when men cheated outside.
It was the same even now. Freya could get rid of Luna’s child in a breeze, but she did not want to. She would never do anything so evil. After all, the baby was innocent. However, the man who betrayed her was not.
Sage followed Primrose to the hospital and grumbled behind her, “I thought you said you won’t give women a hard time?”
“I did say that, but I didn’t say I would do the samne to a homewrecker.”
Primrose said, “I’ve heard about Luna’s deeds for a long time, and I’ve long wanted to meet her. It’s a good day to see what she’s like.”
Sage pouted. She knew Primrose was interested in both Luna and Sienna too. She loved to mess with the homewreckers.
