Janice's face twisted in disbelief as she turned toward her mother.
"Mom!" she snapped, frustrated. "Who doesn't know that Sierra was just Benson's simp? Whatever he told her to do, she did. In a few days, she'll probably be running back to him again. Do you really want to let her fool you one more time?"
"Janice," Jemima's expression grew serious. "How can you speak like that? Apologize to Sierra!"
"She's the one who did it, so why can't I say anything? She's just Benson's simp! A simp!"
Jemima's face flushed red with anger. She lifted her hand and was about to slap Janice. Sierra quickly stepped in to stop her, but Janice shoved her aside.
"I don't need your fake kindness!"
Sierra crashed into the piano, leaving a bump on her head that made her wince in pain.
Seeing this, Janice's expression shifted immediately, a flicker of panic flashing through her eyes.
"Are you okay, Sierra?"
Jemima quickly helped her up, her face filled with worry.
Sierra shook her head, gritting her teeth to hold back the pain. "I'm fine, Ms. Anderson."
Seeing the red mark on Sierra's forehead, Jemima turned to her daughter in exasperation. "Janice, you've gone too far! How could you push someone like that?!"
Janice clenched her jaw, biting her lip before snapping back, "She came at me first! She deserved it!"
"You—" Jemima's chest tightened with rage. "How did you become so spoiled and unreasonable? You make a mistake and still won't admit it!"
