Sierra had already gotten involved by making Benson apologize to Cayden.

With that in mind, Cayden turned to Benson, saying, "I accept your apology, but I'd like to advise you to stop bothering Sierra."

Then, he signed the letter of forgiveness and left the police station.

Benson clenched his fists with a dark and stormy expression. As soon as he got into the car, he asked urgently, "Which hospital is Cee in? I want to see her."

His anxiety was evident, and his eyes were filled with worry he couldn't hide.

Janet had just gotten into the car when she heard his words. Her brows immediately furrowed.

"Sierra is fine. Benson, you need to stop thinking about that cold-hearted, ungrateful woman. Liam and I humbled ourselves in front of her today, begging for her forgiveness to get you out, but she refused without hesitation. Why are you still worried about her?"

The very mention of Sierra irritated Janet to no end, filling her with frustration and anger.

Hearing this, Benson frowned. Yet, he still mentioned, "It was my fault, to begin with. I hurt her. It's only natural that she resents me."

"Benson, you've been completely fooled by that woman. She doesn't care about you anymore. Do you think Liam and I groveled to that brat just because we wanted to? Theo threatened us! He said that if we didn't get Sierra to forgive you, he wouldn't let you out.

"He did all of this for her! Who knows when the two of them got involved? And here you are, still foolishly believing that she's innocent!"
