A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo) novel Chapter 209

William was suspicious. He hadn't expected her to agree so easily. His expression changed as he mulled over the situation..

"Sierra, you're playing me, aren't you? You're not marrying Benson—you're trying to marry Theo! I already noticed something was off that day at the Gray Manor. I can't believe you actually managed to seduce him!" His voice dripped with sarcasm.

Sierra's expression remained composed. Her tone was as cold as ice. "If I marry Theo, shouldn't you be happy? He's the one who controls Gray Corporation. Benson isn't even part of the company. If your goal is to use me to climb up the Gray family ladder, Theo is clearly your best bet."

William still had the same expression, disagreeing, "I'm not letting you marry Theo. He's too old for you. It's not appropriate."

"Keon is old enough to be my grandfather, nearly 40 years older than me, and yet you think that match is perfectly fine? Do you hear how ridiculous you sound?"

Her sharp gaze pierced right through him.

William's jaw clenched.

"Theo is Benson's uncle. If you marry him, you'll be humiliating Benson. Besides, what do you even know about Theo? He's a businessman—cold, ruthless, and calculating. He took over Gray Corporation when he was still a teenager. Do you think someone like him actually cares about you? He's just using you for fun, and once he's bored, he'll toss you aside.

"If you had any sense, you'd go back to Benson. That's your best option. If you change your mind now, I can convince him to forgive you."

Sierra's gaze remained unwavering. "Cut the nonsense. You're just afraid of Theo. If I marry him, you won't be able to control or manipulate me anymore."
