Felicia pursed her lips, cursing Janice in her heart for being so ungrateful.
"Sierra, I don't care if you believe me or not, but I've never wanted to hurt you." Felicia's eyes turned red, so she quickly lowered her head. Her shoulders trembled as she lifted her foot, ready to run out.
Sierra had already seen through her plan and moved to block the doorway.
"You don't want to hurt me, but you want Janice to ruin me. She's an idiot, but you're sinister and so much more despicable than her. You had even told Janice earlier to…"
Seeing that Sierra was about to repeat her words, Felicia panicked and reached out, attempting to cover her mouth.
However, her reaction only confirmed that Sierra was telling the truth.
At that moment, the teacher arrived for class and saw the group of students blocking the classroom door. With a book in hand, she herded the students like ducks.
"Class is starting! Why are you all still gathered here? Get back to your seats!"
The students quickly made way for the teacher to pass, but before the teacher could step inside, someone loudly reported, "Ms. Bailey, Janice deliberately spread false rumors last night to pressure Sierra into withdrawing from the competition. That's a malicious act!"
Janice did not deny it. Instead, she shot a sharp look at Felicia, knowing that if she herself were to be punished, Felicia would not be getting off the hook. This was because Felicia had been using her all along.
"Felicia told me to do so. She even said I'd be the most popular person in school if Sierra weren't here."
"Janice!" Felicia exclaimed through gritted teeth. Sensing the crowd's accusing gazes, she quickly explained, "Ms. Bailey, they have misunderstood me. I just—"
Before she could finish her sentence, the teacher, Rachel Bailey, said sternly, "All three of you, follow me to my office."
The three of them followed behind Rachel—Sierra walked calmly, Janice kept rolling her eyes at the other two, and Felicia was pale.
Once they arrived at the office, Rachel asked them to explain what had happened.
After hearing everything, Rachel turned to Felicia, reprimanding, "Only you know exactly what you were trying to do by saying those things. However, it's clear that you influenced Janice and ended up hurting someone else because of it."
