If this had happened in the past, Sierra would've been disheartened and did everything she could to make Benson pay attention to her.

However, she was completely unfazed, let alone do anything to curry up to him.

"Actually, you don't have to go. I don't want to see you there, either."

Benson's expression changed. He was about to question Sierra if she had fallen in love with Theo, but his arms suddenly sank. It was Sophie holding it.

"Benson has broken up with you, Sierra. Please stop pestering him and let him go." Sophie immediately panicked when she noticed how Benson stopped looking at her after Sierra showed up.

"It's not what you think, Cee. I have broken up with Sophie. She's the one who wouldn't stop pestering me. Don't misunderstand me," he explained frantically, never counting on Sophie saying something like this.

Sophie seemed hurt. Then, she looked at Sierra resentfully.

It was all her fault!

"You don't have to tell me about how things are between you two. It has nothing to do with me. Get out of my way."

The stuff Sierra was carrying was a little heavy. She didn't dare to use her left hand, and her right palm was a bit sore from being squeezed. All she wanted was to go home as soon as possible.

Benson thought Sierra was jealous of Sophie. So, he quickly shoved her away and snarled, "I've given you everything you deserve. Get out of my sight and stop showing up in front of us in the future!"

In the past, Sophie had watched as he talked to Sierra in this tone. It had never occurred to her that she would be on the receiving end one day.

She was so shocked that she loosened her grip. She had lowered one hand and rested another hand on his arm.

Sophie lifted her head and looked at Benson, but there was no longer affection in his eyes. Instead, there was only irritation and impatience. It was as if he viewed her as nothing more than a piece of rag he had tossed away.

Her heart clenched ceaselessly as the color from her lips gradually faded. Eventually, her face turned so pale that it was frightening.
