"The wedding is set for the 28th of next month. It's settled, then," Edward declared with an unreadable expression.

Beaming with happiness, Sophie clutched Benson's arm and said in a voice choked with emotion, "Benson, marrying you is the best thing that has ever happened to me!"

Looking into her teary eyes, Benson felt a moment of weakness. However, out of the corner of his eye, he caught Theo picking up food for Sierra. His expression shifted instantly.

"Grandpa, I refuse to get married," Benson insisted, staring in Sierra's direction. "If I must, the bride can only be Cee."

Then, Edward slammed the table in fury.

"Ridiculous! Sierra is your uncle's wife—they're already legally married! Sophie is also carrying your child. What kind of nonsense is this?"

Theo cast a cold, warning glance at Benson before turning to Liam. "Liam, if you won't discipline Benson, I'd be happy to do it for you."

Liam looked over apologetically. Then, he snapped at Benson. "Stop talking nonsense and apologize to your uncle."

Furrowing her brows, Sierra added in an icy tone, "I am Theo's wife, and that fact will never change."

The harsh glint in Theo's eyes faded as he looked at Sierra, who stood her ground with unwavering determination.

Watching them exchanging glances, Benson felt an overwhelming sense of disappointment as his face twisted in agony.

An apology? Not a chance.

"Benson." Sophie's eyes shimmered with tears as she gazed at him. "H-How could you do this to me and our child?"

He avoided her gaze.

"That's enough. The wedding is settled." Edward could hardly stand to watch any longer. "Janet, you'll handle the preparations. Benson and Sophie, you two just need to show up on time. Let's dig in now."

That meal was a miserable affair for everyone but Sierra and Theo, who seemed to enjoy their food just fine.

After dinner, Edward sipped his drink and glanced at Theo, who was still fixated on Sierra. "When are you and Sierra planning to hold your wedding ceremony? Why not do it at the same time? That way, Janet can take care of everything in one go."

That caused Janet's expression to sour.
