A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo) novel Chapter 276

Madison replied, "A perfect match. I wish them a lifetime of happiness.

"If he's marrying Sophie, that means he won't bother you anymore. That's amazing! We have to celebrate."

She was genuinely happy for Sierra and immediately started looking on her phone for a place to go.

"Does singing sound good?"

"Or should we hit a bar? I feel like getting completely wasted."

Sierra opened her mouth, wanting to say that not only was Benson getting married, but she had also registered her marriage with Theo. Yet, every time she tried to speak, Madison cut her off, leaving her no choice but to give up.

"Never mind. Let's go to a club instead. They have everything there, and I can even call a few handsome young guys to drink with me."

Madison was too caught up in her excitement and didn't notice Sierra's hesitation. She eagerly booked a venue.

"No," Sierra quickly interjected. Facing Madison's confused gaze, she braced herself and offered an excuse. "That place is too expensive. Let's just go singing."

Madison leaned on the table and stared at her. "We've been there before, and you never complained about the price. Didn't we have a great time drinking?"

Sierra blinked guiltily, unable to come up with a response.

"You don't want to hang out with me, do you?" Madison lowered her gaze and asked in a trembling voice, "That jerk thought someone else was better than me. Do you think so too?"

Sierra immediately moved to Madison's side and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Of course not. You're the best. He's just too blind to see it."

Madison lifted her head, and there was not a trace of sadness. Instead, she grinned excitedly. "Great! Then, we're going to the club tonight!"

Sierra was momentarily stunned, then sighed helplessly.

Having known Madison for years, she understood her personality well. Despite her carefree and bold exterior, she was actually quite sensitive.

She might be laughing now, acting like the breakup didn't affect her, but once she got drunk tonight, she was bound to start crying.

After grabbing a quick bite to eat, they hailed a cab to the club.

....

Inside a dimly lit private room, Madison had kicked off her shoes and was standing on the couch with a microphone in hand as she passionately belted out a high note. Two handsome young men beside her carefully steadied her balance.
