A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo) novel Chapter 317

The second those words had left Cayden's lips, Sierra's expression froze, and she felt at a loss.

Sighing in relief, Cayden smiled softly. "You don't have to feel pressured. I just regret not telling you how I felt about you earlier. I know I don't have a chance anymore, but I might end up with a lifelong regret if I don't say this now."

Sierra looked at him, unable to hurt him. "Cayden, you're a good man. I know that you'll definitely meet someone better than me in the future."

Disappointment flashed across his eyes, but he still nodded with a smile. "Don't feel pressured or anything. We're still friends. I won't make things difficult for you or anything."

Watching Cayden turn to leave, she stood rooted to the spot for some time before she finally closed the door.

Once she sat back down, she ruffled her hair in frustration before patting her cheeks and mumbling, "I should stop thinking about it. The competition's much more important."

In the afternoon, Sierra felt a little guilty when she saw Theo, and her gaze began darting all around the place.

Noticing her weird behavior, Theo lifted an eyebrow and asked in a deep voice, "Did something happen in school today?"

Shocked by how perceptive he was, she tried to brush things off. "Nothing happened. Everyone was congratulating me on our marriage.

He stared at her, causing her heart to race rapidly. Her eyes shifted, and she suggested, "Shall we go on a date?"

"Alright," Theo agreed calmly as he collected his gaze.

Having successfully changed the subject, Sierra was ecstatic, asking, "Where shall we go? Where would you usually go on dates?"

Despite growing up with Benson and dating him, they had never once gone on a date. He would always bring his friends along, resulting in her being left out most of the time.

After they had grown up, she tried to ask him out for some alone time together, but he would always bring people with him. It even led them to argue frequently over this, too.

Theo had been courted by numerous women before, but he had never dated. So, he wasn't experienced with dating and could only ask someone with experience.

After thinking about it, the most experienced friends he had were Simon and Yvette. For convenience's sake, he asked them about it in their group chat. "Where do you all normally go on dates?"
