Chapter 33 Blushing
A soft voice broke through Theo’s thoughts, Sierra had already walked up to him, her beautiful eyes fixed on him.
Clearing his throat, Theo said, “It’s fine. Aunt Jemima has been discharged, I’ll take you there.”
Sierra’s eyes brightened, and she nodded. She headed toward the back seat, but Theo suddenly opened the passenger door.

But before she could react, Theo leaned forward, his handsome face inching closer to hers. She quickly shifted her gaze, and she felt enveloped by his scent. Her hand, which was still gripping the seatbelt, tightened involuntarily.
“Let go of your hand, I’ll try,” he said, his breath brushing her ear, his deep voice sending a shiver through her.
She quiddy released her grip. She held her breath, her body tensed, her eyes desperately avoiding his gaze. Her long lashes trembled.
Theo caught a faint, sweet scent coming from her, and be noticed her soft pink lips in his peripheral vision. His gaze slightly darkened.
In the quiet cat, even their breaths seemed to echo, and Sierra’s pulse quickened.
With a few clicks, the seatbelt was fastened, and Theo settled back into his seat. Sierra let out a breath she hadn’t realized she was holding, her body slowly
Her ears flushed red, and the secretly glanced at his reflection in the rearview mirror. just then, their eyes met, and his dark gaze locked onto hers. “Uncle Theo, I really didn’t mean to struggle with the seatbelt. I don’t have any other intentions. Please don’t misunderstand,” she blurted, her face flushing crimson as her ears burned.

“I didn’t say you were doing it on purpose. Are you worried I might misunderstand?” he asked slowly, his tone calm and composed.
Sierra’s embarrassment only deepened. She kept her head lowered, forcing herself to calm down
“No. Nothing at all. Uncle Theo, please just drive,” she said quickly, then turned to state out of the window.
Why did she always embarrass herself around Theo? And each time, it felt worse than the last! Maybe it was better to keep quiet.
