Chapter 32 Memories
In the pitch–black night, a light flickered in Theo’s eyes, and his cold demeanor seemed to soften as warmth spread through him. He replayed Sierra’s voler Thessage over and over.
Although they had only parted less than an hour ago, his longing for her felt like a web, growing thicker by the minute.
He lowered his gaze to the profile picture of Sierra on his phone. In his nanow eyes, the imperceptible glimmer of darkness.

Over the past few days, Sierra had been clearing out everything related to Benson from her house. She suddenly realized how much emptier her room had become.
She then dug out old stuff from her school days, organizing them, all while waiting for a message from Theo.
But after three whole days of waiting, with her dark circles growing worse, no message had come. She couldn’t help but feel anxious, though she didn’t dare to disturb him..
Just as she was about to hesitate and maybe send him a message, a notification finally popped up in her chat with Theo. She jumped up from her bed and quickly opened the chat.
“I’m downstairs.” His deep voice came through the speaker, soothing and pleasant to hear.
Sierra’s eyes widened, and she hurriedly slipped into her slippers and rushed to the balcony. Sure enough, she saw Theo’s black Lincoln parked downstairs. She quickly typed, “Uncle Theo, give me ten minutes. I’ll change and come down.”
“Okay. No rush,” he replied. “Take your time.”
Sierra dashed to the bathroom, glaring at her disheveled reflection in the minor and stomping her foot in fnistration.
Ten minutes later, she jogged out of the neighborhood.

wore a white shirt and light blue jeans. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail, exposing her smooth forehead. Her features were delicate and graceful, with lively eyes that spared with youthful energy.
Theo sat in the car, watching through the window as Sierra walked briskly toward him. He froze for a moment as if transported back in time,
