William sat back down on the sofa, his tone softening, “You should count yourself lucky that Grandpa Edward likes you, So many people would do anything to get close to the Gray family, but they can’t.
“You should take the opportunity while Benson still cares about you. Go charm him, marry him, and use the Gray family to help your brother.”
“That’s right! Stop sulling. If I were Benson, I’d be disgusted too. If you can’t even leam to flatter people, go watch those women at the bar. Learn how to please men from them!”

Herexpression shifted instantly. She immediately rushed over and slapped Xavier twice, catching him completely off guard. His smile hadn’t even faded when the first slap landed.
“Sierra, how dare you hit me!” Xavier shouted, leaping off t the sofa in fury.
He kicked her in the stomach, sending her crashing to the ground. Then, he raised his fist and moved toward her.
Vera rushed forward to hold him back. “Don’t hit her! Stop!”
“Mom, get out of the way! She hit me first!” Xavier yelled, still wanting to strike
Despite the pain, Sierra managed to stand up. She grabbed a fruit knife from the table and pointed it at Xavier.
Vera rushed forward again, standing in front of Xavier. “Cee, don’t be impulsive!”
“Let her come at me then. Let’s see if she dares! Xavier tainted.
