Chapter 84 Complaint 

“Broken body?” Xavier asked angrily, but he stopped wailing and suppressed his pain 

“Isn’t being a brainless idiot a kind of physical defect?” Sierra retorted coldly. 

His chest heaved violently as he gritted his teeth. If it weren’t for the kufe in her bag, he would have already cursed her out. 

‘Mom said you’re gentle, kind, and well–behaved, but you’re not like that at all. She must have been deceived by you. No wonder Dad says you’ve been cold- hearted and ruthless since you were little. He isn’t wrong.” 

Sierra’s eyelashes fluttered as she listened to him, finding it ridiculous. “William told you) was cold–hearted and ruthless since I was little?” 

“Yes, isa’t that exactly who you are?‘ 

“How laughable. He never even took care of me. When I was born, he threw me into the snow and ignored me. So, who’s the cold–hearted and ruthless one? answered. Hertone was colder, and it was also reflected in her gaze. 

Xavier’s bruised and battered face froze. Why was her story different from William’s?

William always said that Sierra had eyes that didn’t look like those of a child, and as she grew, she became more malicious, often bullying others and lying. That was why he didn’t like her and why he didn’t want her to be his daughter. 

“I don’t believe you. You’re lying,” Xavier, who trusted William deeply, mentioned immediately after a brief moment of doubt. 

Sierra merely sneered. “Believe it or not.” 

Just then, William and Vera entered the 

room together. 

“Dear, are you okay?” William almost jogged to the bed, his face filled with concem. Seeing Xavier’s face swollen with bruises, he became even more heartbroken. 

“Who did this to you? Xavier, tell me. I won’t let them off once I find them! he spoke angrily, his eyes burning with fury. 

Xavier shook his head. “I don’t know them. I was playing e–sports with my friends. When we were about to head out for a meal, I accidentally bumped into someone. He said I broke his phone, so we argued. Somehow, we started fighting, which is how I ended up like this.” 

“Where were your friends? Why didn’t they help you?” Vera quickly asked. 

“Don’t even mention it. They ran away faster than anyone. Not even one of them helped me!” Xavier’s voice was both angry and disappointed. 

“Pit!” Sierra couldn’t help but laugh out loud, causing everyone including Xavier to tum to her.
