Chapter 87 Advice
“Who’s upset? I’m fine.” Benson snorted lightly.
“Arvone can see it, Benson. If you can’t let Siena go, apologize properly to her and have her forgive you, Wouldn’t that be good?”
Upon hearing this, Benson sneered. His flushed face, from the alcohol, bore a sarcastic expression.
“I’ve already given her many chances and apologized, but she’s ungrateful. Every time she sees me, she talks about breaking up. This time, she even jumped off the building rather than marry me. It’s ridiculous!
“Tim, how could a woman change so quickly?”
Timothy slowly funowed his brows as he listened to Benson, his expression becoming serious. He hadn’t expected Sierra to be so determined to break up with Benson this time. Pursuing his lips, he slowly spoke, “Benson, you might have really hurt Sierra’s heart this time”
Benson’s hand tightened around the glass he was holding. Letting out a scoff, he asked, “Hurt her heart? I think she has already moved on to another man!”
Thinking back to the blacksuit jacket he saw in Sierra’s room and her evasive gaze, Benson darkened. He slammed the glass down on the table.
Timothy looked at him with disbelief. After a moment of hesitation, he clarified, “Benson, are you mistaken? I’ve been watching all along, and Sierra has always been good to you. She only has eyes for you.”
“It’s all an act. I saw ber holding hands with another man. I also saw a man’s suit jacket in her room. She’s already changed!”
Benson spoke with certainty, and his eyes were tinged with self–mockery.
He had been making excuses for her, but it was all lies.
Timothy felt something was off and advised, “Benson, I think there must be some misunderstanding—”
“Misunderstanding? She used to be so afraid of making me angry and would apologize within a day every time we argued. But this time, she’s so determined to break up. No matter what I say, she won’t budge. The only explanation I can think of is that she’s fallen for another man.”
Benson’s eyes dimmed, and his voice was cold and furious.
Timothy looked at his angry, handsome face, and sighed. “Benson, don’t think I’m being harsh. With your temper, only Sierra could tolerate you. If it were any other woman, she would have left you by now.
