“It was just a joke. Why take it so seriously? No one will like a petty woman like you,” one of the men mumbled, sounding like he was angered.
Siena answered, “Being sharp–tongued and lacking humor are two different things. Don’t mistake bad manners for charisma. I don’t need you to like me, nor do I care if you hate me because we have absolutely nothing to do with each other.”
“You-“The man was so enraged that his face tumed purple, and he couldn’t speak for a long time.
Benson furrowed has brows. “Sierra, they are my friends, so mind your words.”
“Your friends are your friends, but not mine. Why should I listen to you just so they can bully ine even more? Benson, have you ever stood up for me when they humiliated me?”

“Benson, don’t take things too far.” Sierra glared at him. Her cheeks also flushed with anger.
Sophie quickly looked at Benson and stirred the pot. “Benson, since Sierra doesn’t want to apologize, don’t make things too difficult for her. How about a different way to apologize? Since she slapped me once, I can slap her back. Sounds fair, right?”

Sierra’s fists tightened, and her knuckles turned white.
Sophie walked toward her with a smug smile. “Don’t worry, Sierra, I won’t slap you as hard as you did to me.”
As she spoke, she raised her hand to slap Sierra, only to have her wrist grabbed. Sierra forcefully pushed her a

Sophie collided with the table, causing her expression to change. Seeing Sierra about to leave, she immediately called out, “Hanson, help me hold her.”
