Never Late, Never Away Chapter 2642
Barged In
“Okay, that’s enough. No public display of affection allowed in the workplace. Or else you will be fired.” Larry did not turn his face.
“Larry, please fire me then.” Jessica joked without any embarrassment.
“Except you!” Larry changed his mind swiftly.
Back in the hotel room, Jasper was still sleeping soundly on his bed, without any awareness of the time.
“Uh…” He finally opened his eyes and gave a big stretch.
He stood up and pulled the curtain open, but he closed them back the moment unexpected sunlight pierced through his eyes.
Why am I in a hotel? Jasper frowned in confusion looking at his surroundings.
“Good morning, sir. Your breakfast is here.” Just then, a server knocked at the door.
“Who sent me here?” Jasper questioned as soon as he opened the door.
“I am sorry, sir. I am just here to send the breakfast.” Upon saying, the server left before Jasper could respond.
What’s with that attitude? Jasper shut the door angrily and started gobbling up the breakfast.
Wait, where is Caspian? Where has he gone to? With that, Jasper’s face lit up with slight joy, as he did not expect that he would meet such an honorable man like Caspian.
After Jasper has done packing his stuff, he left the hotel at once.
He did not go home and did not head to the nightclub. Instead, he drove towards Norton Corporation.
“I am sorry, sir. But no one can see Mr. Norton without an appointment.” As expected, he was blocked at the receptionist counter.
“I don’t need an appointment. I just had a wonderful time drinking together with your boss yesterday! Let me in…” Jasper did not care about any proper protocol of the company.
“Sir, please stop! I will be fired if I let you in!” The receptionist begged desperately.
At once, Jasper turned silent as his mind pondered for an alternative for such a situation.
“Then please make a call to Larry. Tell him that Jasper is here for him.”
“Okay!” Seeing that Jasper was willing to cooperate, the receptionist dialed on the landline in relief.
