A Trust-fund Baby novel Chapter 81

While talking with Sally, Judson suddenly felt a pain on the thigh. He knew Diana pinched him under the table. He turned a look and found Diana giving him a warning look at him.

Seeing Diana’s lovely appearance, Judson could not help but shake his head in laughter. Although it was a little in pain, it was not a big deal.

After a while, when Sally went to the kitchen to serve food, Diana asked Judson, “Why did you have no reaction? Didn't it hurt?”

“It hurt. How about I pinch you?” Judson pretended to be in pain.

When Diana was about to speak with Judson, Sally came out from the kitchen. After a while, Judson felt Diana's hands, under the table, to gently knead the place she had just pinched. Looking at the blushed Diana, Judson showed a smile.

Judson was about to leave after dinner. Sally did not ask him to stay. She understood, in the past two years, Judson and Diana experienced a lot and they needed time to heal the pain in heart. So Sally could only sign deeply and said to Judson, “Judson, go home to have meal tomorrow.”

Judson nodded with a smile, “Ok, Mom, I will come back with Diana. Mom, go be bed early, I'm going home.”

Sally nodded and then winked at Diana.

Diana bit her bottom lip. She would not let Judson stay overnight. She said to Judson, “Well, I see you off.”

“OK.” Judson nodded with a smile.

After closing the door, Diana sent Judson downstairs. Before Judson got in the car, Diana stopped him.

“What's the matter?” Judson asked in doubt looking at Diana.

“Nothing, it's now late. Drive safely.” Diana said to Judson.

Judson felt warm in heart and nodded to Diana, and then drove away. Diana had been waiting for Judson's car completely out of sight, she turned and went upstairs. After returning home, Diana went back to her bedroom after taking a bath and then, sent a message to Judson.

“Have you got home?”

Judson replied to her, “Yes, you go to bed early, you need to work tomorrow.”

“Ok, ok, you too.” Diana replied to Judson.

After chatting with Judson, Diana turned off the light and lay on the bed with her eyes closed. In the past six months, this was the most relaxing day she felt. Although neither she nor Judson promised anything to each other, she felt the bliss. This was what she wanted, it was beautiful..

In the next few days, Judson never had any contact with Diana physically, but quietly accompanied her, picked her up to and from work every day and chatted with her every night.

Their hearts were getting close. Pain in heart was smoothed bit by bit. It was Sunday. Diana sent Judson a message in the morning.

“Judson, where are we going today?”

Judson looked at Diana's message and replied, “Where do you want to go?”

Diana replied, “I don't know. I don't have any idea.”

Judson said, “I go to your house downstairs first, we can talk about it when we meet.”

Diana replied, “Ok, I'll wait for you.”
