After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities novel Chapter 825

Chapter 825

"I just asked Darius about everyone's preferences, so I picked the gifts and packaging according to their likes," Isabelle was touched by Sylvia's support.

"Miss Deleon is thoughtful, thank you," the old Mrs. Foster finally spoke a decent sentence at this moment.

Camille quickly took the gift on the table, "Thank you, I didn't expect it to be a limited edition. I must post it on social media."

"That's right, these gifts on the table are unique and only one of its kind," Sylvia nodded her head.

Her words were quite ironic.

But no one in the Foster family dared to argue with her.

Just by looking at Franklin's dark face, they knew that arguing with Sylvia would mean trouble for them.

Franklin slightly curled his lips and expressed satisfaction with his wife who could frighten everyone as soon as she entered.

Darius had been trying to defend Isabelle but also show some respect to the Foster family. However, after seeing how they bullied Isabelle due to her identity and how they changed their attitude after Sylvia's arrival made him feel disgusted by their behavior.

Madam Karina couldn't be bothered with these women from the Foster family either; instead she whispered softly, asking Bethany, "Besides horse riding and martial arts what else have you learned?"

"I also studied finance with Winter who taught us many financial knowledge. I also learned violin, cello... and etiquette norms... and..."

Bethany listed everything proudly; every day was filled up without any playtime.

"Finance? You're so young yet exposed yourself in finance?" Madam Karina felt heartbroken when hearing how hardworking her granddaughter was. "What about your cultural classes?"

"Yes! We study cultural classes every day too! English, German, French, I learn them all!"

"How can this child bear such burden?" The old Mrs. Foster couldn't help but say, "She is so young yet learning so much."

However, no matter how caring she appeared towards children now, others saw it as hypocritical.

"These courses were all designed by Aunt Sylvia... I can do it! Because I want to be the best, and help more people. I want to make many poor people no longer poor, and no longer oppressed. Aunt Sylvia said that if I want to become that kind of person, then I have to walk a destined difficult road, ten times or even a hundred times harder than ordinary children. But I am not afraid of hardship, and I will walk it."

Bethany's big eyes were full of determination and fighting spirit.

After hearing her words, almost everyone in the living room looked ashamed as they suddenly realized they weren't even as good as a child.

If they had heard Bethany say these things before, they might have laughed or thought it was impossible. But now... with Sylvia standing behind her, they inexplicably felt that Bethany would definitely become that kind of person in the future - not because her mother was the prime minister but because she had an extraordinary guide like Sylvia!

Darius felt proud! This was his daughter! What luck allowed her to meet Sylvia who became a beacon on her life path?

The butler quickly came over to speak after the atmosphere in the living room had finally eased up from its tense state. "The old Mrs. Foster has prepared dinner; please take your seats."

At this point, old Mrs. Foster didn't dare say anything else or adopt any haughty posture typical of wealthy elderly women; instead she put on a kindly smile, saying, "Miss Deleon, Miss Andrews, Mr. Maskelyne, please follow me into the dining room."

Sylvia graciously nodded, aand replied, "Thank you so much."

Franklin gently clasped Sylvia's small hand in his large palm, responding politely yet maintaining a touch of aloofness, before guiding the entire group - including Darius, who tenderly held his wife's hand while cradling their child - towards the dining room.

Franklin, standing tall and exuding an icy demeanor, remained resolute throughout the journey towards the dinner, concealing any hint of emotion.

But nobody dared ignore his presence.

Darius felt warm holding his wife while carrying their child; this indescribable sense satisfaction could never be replaced by anything else.
