After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities novel Chapter 882

Chapter 882

The two of them stepped into the restaurant, which was decorated in a traditional style and had a very quiet atmosphere. It was lunchtime, and there were many customers inside.

Sylvia and Franklin found a seat by the window. The waitress came over with menus right away. "What would you like to eat?" she asked.

Sylvia smiled, took the menu, ordered two dishes for herself, then handed it to Franklin. "You can choose what you want," she said.

Franklin ordered two dishes plus soup. Sylvia noticed that he had ordered her favorite dishes as well. She couldn't help but feel touched deep down inside.

"That's all," Sylvia said with a smile as she handed the menu back to the waitress.

The pretty young waitress threw her an admiring look. "You're Miss Andrews, right? I'm your fan! I've seen you on Twitter."

Although their family owned restaurants abroad now, they still kept tabs on things back home!

She turned her gaze towards Franklin next. "And this must be Mr. Maskelyne? You two are such an attractive couple! Like something out of a fairytale - even more beautiful than your photos!"

"Today's meal is 50% off; we'll also throw in a bottle of red wine for free."

Suddenly there was a loud noise from one corner of the restaurant that made everyone jump up in surprise!

Sylvia instinctively turned around only to see an elderly couple sitting at one table while standing before them were two young men who had caused all this commotion...

It was their voices that everyone heard just now!

One blond man swept everything off their table onto the floor then grabbed one bowl intending to smash it against the old lady's face!

Franklin narrowed his eyes sharply as he picked up fork from his own table throwing it at him quickly... Just as that bowl was about to hit its target causing bloodshed everywhere...

With a loud bang, the fork flew through space hitting that bowl squarely shattering it into pieces mid-air!

Shards flew everywhere including some bits lodging themselves into his skin making him scream out painfully. "Who did this?! Who's playing tricks here?"

A lot of soup splashed onto him too dirtying up his face quite badly...

He looked up and scanned the area, spotting a man with a cold expression sitting by the window. The man had sharp eyes that stared directly at him, and his tall and slender figure made it difficult to discern his features from the perspective of someone with blonde hair. However, his intense aura was impossible to ignore.

"You! Are you looking for trouble?" The blonde man shouted angrily at Franklin.

The man turned around with an unparalleled air of superiority on his face, glancing briefly at the blonde man and his chubby companion. "Bullying elderly people is not impressive."

"We'll bully whoever we want! What's it to you?" The chubby man sneered as he violently swept away plates in front of two old men. The sound of shattering dishes echoed throughout the room.

As he was about to punch one of them in the nose, there was a loud bang! He flew like a round ball towards the wall before slowly sliding down onto the ground while screaming like a pig being slaughtered.

"You dare hit me!" Franklin stood tall with an icy demeanor that made him seem like he came straight from hell.

The sight terrified even the blonde guy but he still tried charging towards Franklin anyway. With one swift kick from Franklin's long legs, however, he stumbled backwards until hitting against a floor lamp which shattered into pieces upon impact.

Fortunately for him though, Chubby had gotten up just in time to catch him or else Blonde would have fallen onto those shards scattered all over floor.

They usually thought they were superior, so they couldn't tolerate such humiliation?

"How dare you hit us? Do you know who we are?" One fat and one thin guy charged towards Franklin but were quickly beaten by him until they fled while shouting "You wait!"

Despite all this commotion happening around them, both old men remained calm without showing any signs of panic whatsoever.

Sylvia raised an eyebrow and said to their pretty waitress. "We'll cover all damages here."

It wasn't until then that the old man spoke slowly as he put down his utensils. "You drove away some hooligans; why would we ask for compensation?"

With that said, he simply scanned Facebook's QR code before transferring 20 thousand dollars directly over to their waitress' account without batting an eye.

"Is that enough?" The waiter looked unfazed. "It's enough. They'll have enough for next time too."

It seemed like the two elderly people had experienced this kind of thing before.

Sylvia and Franklin exchanged a look, feeling that things were not as simple as they appeared on the surface.
