Chapter 115 A Baby Out of Thin Air 

Michael felt somewhat aggrieved by Admas‘ scolding but still bent down to get slippers for Chloe. 

Instinctively, Chloe wanted to say thank you, but she managed to hold back. Otherwise, Admas would say they were too distant and not like a married couple. 

They sat on the sofa, and Admas continued, “You must be thirsty and tired from your journey. There are fruits on the table. Why don’t you peel one for Chloe?” 

Admas couldn’t help shaking his head. He really didn’t know how his thoughtless grandson could have such low emotional intelligence. 

Chloe felt a bit embarrassed. “It’s okay Admas. I don’t want any.” 

Having Michael peel fruit for her was a “blessing” she wasn’t ready to enjoy. 

“Then have some when you feel like it!” 

Admas spoke gently to Chloe but turned cold again when looking at Michael. 

At that moment, Cathy came in, walked over to Admas, and said with a smile that she was there to see him.

Admas didn’t pay her much attention; his whole heart was still focused on Chloc and Michacl. 

Feeling ignored, Cathy sat on the sofa with some displeasure, listening to their conversation. 

“You brat, you’ve been taking medicine for so many days. Why isn’t there any effect?” 

Michael was stunned, his hand freezing in front of him. 

Of course, the medicine would not take effect; he and Chloe weren’t even sharing a bed,.let alone a room. How could he get a baby out of thin air? 

But Admas didn’t know this and grumbled discontentedly. 

“If it’s really to that point, it’s better to go to the hospital and get a proper check–up. You’ll be treated whatever needs treating.” 

Michael almost choked at his carnest advice. 

“Grandpa, there’s really nothing wrong with my body!” 

As a man, he also had his dignity. How could he go to the hospital to check on such matters? 

“If you insist there’s nothing wrong with your body, then why hasn’t Chloe been pregnant? Or is it that you don’t want children at all?”
