"You should go back."

In the end, Michael didn't give Lucy a clear answer.

Lucy knew she couldn't rush things. She had only come to inform him about the situation at Shawn Heavy Industries. It was up to him to decide, and she just needed to wait quietly.

"Alright, take your time to think it over. I won't disturb you."

As she walked to the door, she remembered something and turned back. "I heard you didn't come back last night and went to the hospital, so I brought you some corn chowder. I made it myself. If you like, you can have some."

The door closed behind her, and Emma brought the thermos box to Michael. "Mr. Shawn, this..."

"Throw it away."

Emma had been worried that Michael might soften and drink the corn chowder after what had just been said.

Hearing him say to throw it away, she immediately smiled and agreed.

She thought, "Mr. Shawn still has Ms. Nelson in his heart!"

Returning to his study, Michael called Asher. "What's going on at Shawn Heavy Industries?"

Asher, overwhelmed with work, responded, "Your call is timely. I was just about to tell you that over the past few days, five partners have already wanted to terminate their contracts with us."

Michael frowned. "Did you find out why?"

"I did. They all said it's because we change personnel too frequently, and they don't want to work with new people, fearing it increases the risk of cooperation."

"That's bullshit!"

Michael couldn't help but swear.
