When Admas suddenly burst in, Michael’s grip loosened. Chloe. seized the moment without hesitation. She lifted her foot and drove her knee hard into his crotch. 

“Get lost!” 

“Ouch!” 

Michael cursed under his breath. His strength drained as he rolled off her, his face contorted in pain. 

She dared to strike him so viciously! 

If he were impaired for the rest of his life, she would regret it! 

It took him a while to recover, but by then, his mood had dissipated entirely. 

The night they passed without any further incident between them. 

The next day, Chloe got ready and left the house early. 

She had arranged to meet Quinn at a cafe to discuss a partnership. 

Once seated. Quinn handed over all the documents to Chloe.

“Where are you living now?” 

Quinn asked cautiously after taking a sip of his coffee. 

He had waited at the door for a while when returning home these past few days but hadn’t seen Chloe. 

The soundproofing in that apartment complex was mediocre, so he’d been attentive to any noise from across, yet hadn’t heard her opening or closing her door. 

Clearly, since she mentioned getting a divorce last time, she hadn’t returned to that apartment. 

“I’m staying at the Lotus Manor.” 

“Aren’t you already divorced from Michael?” 

Quinn’s tone became somewhat impatient, and he realized this
