Michael seemed to come to his senses and quickly stepped in.. 

And Lucy also followed him.

The smell of perfume on Michael made Chloe feel like vomiting again. 

“Are you okay?” Quinn discovered her abnormality in time and asked gently.

With a sound, the elevator arrived at the first floor. 

Without any hesitation, she stepped out of the elevator first, with Quinn following closely behind. 

Chloe didn’t care at all what Michael and Lucy were doing behind her and walked straight to the roadside to hail a taxi. 

“Chloe, wait a minute!” 

Michael frowned and called out to her in front of him. 

By the side of the road, Chloe averted her gaze from him and

But Michael stood in front of her, with a serious look of interrogation in his eyes. 

“Explain to me why you came out of the hotel with him.”

Chloe suddenly found it amusing and cast a glance at Lucy who stood beside her. 

“You should take care of your own affairs first before asking 

me!” 

As he was in the hotel after coming out in dishevel with Lucy how could he have the nerve to ask Chloe seriously? 

Michael seemed to realize at this moment that the appearance of himself and Lucy could easily be misunderstood. 

He took a deep breath. “Lucy and I are not what you think.” 

“How is that?” Chloe immediately asked back, and upon observing his incredible expression, she couldn’t help feeling a little sarcastic in her heart. 

Was this what Admas told her yesterday? Did Michael know his mistake and was working hard to correct it? 

Was this the result of his correction by showing up in the hotel. with Lucy late in the afternoon? 

Chloe berated herself internally for her foolishness, for actually

A taxi drove over, and Chloe got in. The door opened wide, and she looked at Quinn. “Would you like to get in?” 

He was stunned for a second, then immediately sat on it. 

Michael gritted his teeth and tried to hold the car door with his hands, but Quinn pushed him with force. 

The taxi disappeared right in front of him, leaving a cloud of dust in its wake. 

Lucy stood by his side and whispered, “Has Chloe misunderstood once more? You should hurry and catch up to explain. Don’t let her become too angry.” 

Michael glanced at her and said nothing more. He got into his car parked on the side of the road and chased after Chloe. 

Lucy stood on the side of the road for a while, then chuckled and turned back to the hotel. 

It was indeed beyond her expectations that Chloe would appear
