Michael put his arm around her waist. “Yes, Grandpa, we were just out for a midnight snack. If we had known you were awake, we would have invited you along!” 

Admas looked at the two of them and then said, “Humph, I do not eat late at night. Now that you have eaten, go to bed early. It is late, and this is nonsense!” 

With that, he turned and went back to his room. 

Both of them let out a sigh of relief, and Chloe loosened his hold on her waist. 

In a blink of an eye, the day came when the two of them went to the Mythica. 

Chloe packed her things and waited in the living room of the Lotus Manor for Michael’s driver to pick her up. 

He had to go to the office that day, so he told her to pack and wait at home. 

Gigi circled around her and nuzzling her with its head. 

A few days ago, Gigi had been sick and spent a week in the pet hospital, which cost a lot of money. 

Now that it was finally recovered and back to its carefree sell.

Chloe patted its furry head, “Gigi, are you out of food?” 

She looked at its food bowl, which was full of meat. 

“I do not have time to play with you today. Be good, and Simeon will take you out to play later!” 

Chloe loved animals. 

Even though she did not visit the Lotus Manor often, Gigi was very close to her. 

Hearing her words, Gigi obediently sat beside her, wagging its tail. 

Admas came downstairs and was surprised to see Chloe still there. 

“Is Michael still at the office?” 

Chloe smiled and nodded, “Probably finishing up some work. Our flight is later, so it is fine.” 

Their flight to the Mythica was on Paramount Airlines, so Michael did not need to come back in person. 

At around ten in the morning, the Rolls–Royce finally pulled up to the Lotus Manor. 

Chloe said goodbye to Admas, patted Gigi, and got into the car.

“Michael does not have any flight today, right?” 

Chloe asked casually after getting in the car.

The driver shuddered, “Mr. Shawn has handed off all his work for today.” 

Chloe thought, “That is good. Have a smooth honeymoon, just as planned.” 

At the entrance of Paramount Airlines, Chloe had just gotten out of the car when she received a call from Candy. 

“Are you there yet?” 

“Just arrived.” 

“I do not dare buy a business class ticket. I am afraid your husband will kill me if he see me. so I am in economy class. See you at the hotel then!” 

Candy’s timid words made Chloe laugh. 

She dragged her luggage and checked it in. Seeing that it was only 1:30 PM, she passed through the security and waited in the VIP lounge. 

Michael still had not shown up, but she was not worried. She pulled out her phone and started watching TV. 

“Beep!”

Chloe heard a noise and looked outside the lounge. 

Candy was peeking in with wide–eyed. 

“Where is your husband?” she asked, afraid to come in and bump into Michael. 

She thought, “After all, this is their honeymoon. 

I did better hide if I could.” 

Chloe said, “Maybe he is dead. Stop hiding and come in.”
