The stewardess noticed something was off with Lucy and squatted down beside her. “Ma’am, do you need any assistance?” she asked. 

Lucy kept shaking her head, but her facial features remained contorted with discomfort.

“Ma’am, are you airsick? We can bring you a cup of warm water. Do you need it?” 

Lucy opened her eyes with difficulty and whispered something into the stewardess‘ ear. The stewardess‘ expression changed to one of curiosity as she looked at Chloe. 

The stewardess then approached their row, standing beside Michael. 

“Sir, your girlfriend over there is feeling unwell. We can change seats for you and the passenger next to her. Would you like to go 

over?” 

Chloe thought, “Girlfriend? 

Where did Lucy get the nerve to say that?” 

Chloe was already in a bad mood and did not want to grant her wish.

She wrapped her arm around Michael and said, “Honey, where are you going? Did you not say she was just your employee?” 

Her voice was just loud enough to be heard over the plane’s roar by the stewardess, who looked at them in surprise. 

Seeing her reaction, Chloe realized this was a new stewardess at Paramount Airlines; otherwise, she would have known their relationship. 

Michael frowned slightly and about to say something, but Chloe leaned closer to his ear and whispered. “You dare to go over and try!” 

Chloe thought, “Did he really think I was a tolerant person? 

Was Lucy bullying me while I turned a blind eye? 

“If you dare to go over, you can forget about the honeymoon. We will be back tomorrow for a divorce certificate. After that, I do not care whose boyfriend you are.” 

She let go of his hand, giving him the freedom to choose. 

Michael felt the nerves on his forehead twitching slightly. 

After a moment, he told the stewardess, “I am not a doctor. If she is airsick, there is nothing I can do. You stewardesses should take better care of her.” 

The stewardess looked at the two of them blankly, glancing back and forth between them before awkwardly returning to Lucy.

Michael leaned closer to Chloe. “Are you satisfied now?”

He had not intended to sit next to Lucy. He just wanted to check 

on her out of concern. 

But Chloe’s jealousy made him feel better. 

Michael thought, “She held me back and refused to let me go, which meant that she still had my own feelings in her heart, right?” 

Chloe snorted coldly, “You just made the choice any decent man would make. What? You want me to praise you?” 

The rest of the flight passed without any more incidents from Lucy. 

When they deplaned, the stewardess still cast a lingering look at them as she saw the passengers off. 

Candy was walking behind and noticed something was off. 

She thought, “It was supposed to be just the two of them, but how did it become three?” 

As they entered the airport terminal, she saw that the extra person was indeed Lucy! 

She cursed under her breath and hurriedly walked up to them. 

“Chloe, what a coincidence!”
