“This is for you,” he said, handing her something 

Chloe looked over and found it was a piece of preserved meat. 

“Did you make this?” she asked. 

Quinn faltered. “I bought it.” 

Chloe nodded in realization. She had never seen Quinn cook before. 

“It’s pretty good. Try it,” he said. 

Chloe accepted it and thanked him. 

“Are you going out?” Quinn asked.

Chloe cleared her throat. “Is that girl I saw your girlfriend?”
