Chapter 3 Seducing 

He frowned when he noticed that she wasn’t there for him.

Normally, even if he came home late, Chloe would have dinner ready and ask him to eat some even if he wasn’t hungry. 

So, Michael couldn’t help but wonder if she was trying to give him the cold shoulder. 

Annoyed, he decided not to coax her this time. 

Tossing the handbag onto the table, he headed straight to his study. 

It was nearly midnight when he finished his work. 

Chloe still hadn’t shown up. And she didn’t knock at the door as 

usual. 

In the past, whenever he stayed up late for work, she always offered him a cup of coffee, milk or stuff. 

Michael found it annoying before, but strangely, he felt something was missing now. Feeling unsettled, he got up and took a shower. 

And then, he opened the bedroom door. 

The room was dim.

In the soft moonlight, he saw a small bulging under the covers. 

Chloe lay awake, sensing his familiar presence. 

As he got in bed, she turned to his side and slipped her hand under his silk pajamas, her fingers gliding over his skin. 

“Chloe! What are you doing?” 

Michael snapped and grabbed her wrist tightly, causing her wound to throb with pain. 

She winced but smiled seductively. Then she wrapped her legs 

around his waist… 

Gradually, Michael started panting. 

Chloe noticed it and smirked triumphantly. 

The next second, he yanked away her legs. 

“What do you want this time?” He asked impatiently in a low voice, clearly irritated. 

Giggling, Chloe replied, “I’m seducing you. Can’t you see? What? You don’t wanna sleep with me?” 

After a short pause, she continued, “Your grandpa keeps 

nagging about having a grandchild all the time. But I can’t make a baby on my own.”
